Schlumberger Foundation Faculty for the Future Fellowships offer the recipient the following advantages:

• These grants are calculated upon actual costs of eligible expenses that exceed an amount of USD 50,000 annually for an PhD and a maximum of USD 40,000 annually for a Postdoc. They can be renewed until the completion of the studies.
• Renewal grant awards are subject to the performance of the applicant, self-evaluation and suggestions from supervisors, and evidence of re-integration strategies within the home country.

Eligibility Criteria for Schlumberger Foundation Faculty for the Future Scholarship 2023

To be eligible to be eligible for Schlumberger Foundation Faculty for the Future Fellowships, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Required Language: English.
• World Countries Eligible: All world countries.
• Are female and an emigrant from the emerging or developing economy*. You cannot apply if you have two citizenships, one of which is a citizen of one of the developed countries. (N.B. If you’ve received the Faculty for the Future grant and, following the award, you become a citizen of a country with a high level of development the grant will cease from the date of the new citizenship);
• are working towards the pursuit of a PhD degree or postdoctoral research in the sciences engineering, technology, as well as mathematical (STEM) fields. The awards in the biological sciences are restricted to research that is interdisciplinary in the biological and physical sciences. It is important to note that the Faculty for the Future program is not able to fund Master or PhD studies.
